We missed the white Christmas in Fort Smith, but the girls didn't notice! They had a great time in Nashville opening presents and playing. They had a ball...can't wait for next year! I was even able to get some cute pics of the occasion even though the girls aren't really into pictures lately.

We had an awesome Thanksgiving in Nashville this year! I was able to sneak off Wednesday night with Kim to watch New Moon! It was SO awesome...then the next day had an amazing lunch with family.

My beautiful friend, Melissa, is having her 2nd baby girl in January so all of us got together for a shower. We met up at Shogun tonight and had a wonderful dinner with great conversation and lots of presents. You can't ask for a better night. I can not wait to meet the new addition to our crew.

We went to Spencer's 1st birthday party today! Its amazing how fast they grow. He is a complete joy with the most precious smiles and curls (and FEET) ever! It was pretty crazy with people and kids everywhere, but the girls had an awesome time.

My parents let us use their tickets for the game this weekend! (don't feel too badly for them...they were on a cruise!) So we loaded up some friends and headed up to Fayetteville. The game would have been even better had we won, but it was still fun as well as the tailgating at Pratt Farm before the game!

Well, we all headed down to Galveston, TX to meet my dad's side of the family for a few days. We stayed at a perfect beachhouse right on the water. It was great! The girls had a blast! It was so neat to see them have so much fun. They even traveled well and slept well so I couldn't ask for anything more.

We loaded up the girls and headed to Omaha for a long 4th of July weekend. After a quick stop in KC to shop we drove on up to Nebraska. The girls had an awesome time playing with their cousins. We shot some "Arkansas fireworks", went to the zoo, and drove up to Iowa on the 4th for a fun BBQ at Jim's Aunt Barb's house. We even squeezed in an adult night on Friday in downtown Omaha (which was awesome...I definitely want to check out the shopping there!).

We met up with our Lifegroup at Ben Geren park for some kite flying. The girls had a great time running around with the other kids and playing at the playground. I love this weather this time of year!!

My brother, Matt, got married this weekend! SO CRAZY!! Sydni was a flower girl with Matilda. We went down to Texarkana for the rehearsal on Friday and the wedding was on Saturday. The wedding was beautiful. Averi was a handful but super late bedtime the night before and NO NAP the next day usually means a bad day for her! The girls looked precious and Laura was a gorgeous bride!

Combining 2 posts in one! Last weekend we had an egg hunt with our friends up at work. They have a beautiful spot by the parking lot with lots of beautiful flowers.

This weekend we headed down to Nashville for Easter. It was raining and cold but we made do with an egg hunt inside. The kids still had fun!

We had a great trip to TX!! And can not wait to go back!! Rain and all...

We went to Allen, TX (north of Dallas) on Tuesday afternoon. We hit up the outlet mall and stayed in a hotel. Then drove into Austin on Wednesday where we had lunch and stopped by riverside park. We made our way into San Antonio after that but we were too exhausted to do much else other than visit the playground and order pizza! Thursday we attempted Sea World but it was a rain storm from hell...complete with thunder and lightening. We did manage to squeeze in a couple exhibits and the Shamu show. Friday we visited the Alamo and Riverwalk with PERFECT weather then drove on to Yoakum to stay with my dad and Trish. Saturday we all took the girls into Austin to play at a park and indoor playground which they loved!
We had a great time and plan to go back next Spring Break!! :) Maybe next time we will actually get to hang out at Sea World for a while!!

We met with our lifegroup from church today for an easter egg hunt. The girls had such a good time! Averi was all about the hunt. She kept saying "Eggs?? Where are you??" TOO FUNNY...then I found Miss Sydni hiding behind a bush chowing down on some candy.

I took the girls ALL BY MYSELF to Nashville to visit family coming in from Colorado. The girls were angels on the way down AND back. I was completely shocked...I think the CHEETOS had a lot to do with it. It was awesome to see Stan, Debbie and Nicole even if it was a short time. It was the first time for Debbie and Nicole to meet Averi. I think they were all properly inducted. Averi was a wildfire!

We headed over to the White House for the Super Bowl. The girls had an awesome time playing with Reaghan then Wilson and Russell later on. The house was ROCKIN for sure! I don't think the kids have ever been that loud before but it was so cool to see them having so much fun together.
As for the game, I wish AZ could have pulled it out. Haven't the Steelers won a bazillion SB games??
